ABOUT RMIBD

We invite you to join us for a comprehensive overview of the diagnosis and management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to be held spring 2022. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION                                       

This course focuses on common clinical dilemmas that arise in the care and treatment of patients with IBD. It is designed for gastroenterology practitioners, GI fellows, and GI advanced practice clinicians (PAs and ARNPs). General and colorectal surgeons will also benefit. Sessions will center on management and treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. Difficult clinical problems across the continuum of care from the initial visit to care of the hospitalized patient will be covered using lectures and panel discussions designed to facilitate discussions with the attendees. The faculty members are national and internationally recognized experts in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. This course combines University of Utah and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus faculty and other invited experts in an informal atmosphere that compels strong faculty and attendee interaction.
